just thought id post this as she looks nice and bright for a change. its her first molt and must admit the last time i had feeling like that was when my son was being born

ha i like it. i will get more (hopefully near christmas) im hoping for a p ornata/ regalis etc or maybe one of the asian species. well have to see. Im working on just buying black crickets seeing as their noisy. That way i can use the excuse, if i get another then they wont be around as long

If the noise of the crickets is the problem with the missus, just buy no 4's instead of adults cos there isnt that much difference in size between them and only adult males chirp

yeah one adult black tried that with mine a couple of days ago.................lets just say it didnt end well for the cricket
she munched a good 4 or 5 in quick succession, then kindly left the chewed ball on top of the hide for me to tidy up. |

yeah i guess so but i think its down to where you live. some places its g, rosea or porteri where as other's it g, rosea ncf? (porteri) or g, rosea rcf ill happily have her as a porteri as it sounds more exotic

No it is NOT.  The reason that there is scientific names is that the same spider has the same name anywhere in the world. Also if Michael has said that your spider is of a particular species (especially such a commonly kept species). . . . believe him. He has kept, bred and keeps more spiders that you will see in your lifetime. |
