Can anyone recommend a reputable dealer in Canada? I've dealt with Avery Exotics & found him excellent & I highly recommend him. However, he doesn't have what I need ( a B smithi female).
Don't recommend Tarantula Canada; it seems as if it's too much of a chore to fill an order- it's vacation time. I wish I worked in a business with that luxury!!!! -------------------- "Smells like Tarantula to me" Agent 86 aka Max Smart

Give the guy a break, I think everyone entitaled to a holiday every once in a while.  How desperate are you to get this tarantula? is it a life and death situation? are you willing to travel to Stuttgart to get it?Having met the owner of Tarantula Canada I can say now that he is a really decent chap and if he's been buzy and needs a break then let him have one. I guess I deserved that response. I'm not really a bad guy just anxious. Sorry if I offended anyone. I really do provide a good hoem to 8-leggers & 2-leggers & 4-leggers & 6- leggers & ?-leggers.

Tarantula Canada is top notch. They aren't going to be gone that long. Where are you located anyway? Shipping is over for TC, unless you pay for West Jet shipping. If you are in Ontario he will still ship, but anywhere else has to be by air and that runs about $70 depending on where you are.
Did you ask David Avery if he can help you find one? I've dealt with him on several occasions, he is also top notch. --------------------  My Collection: |

Hi,
i advice Martin Gamache (www.tarantulacanada.ca). He is a very nice guy with lot interessting species on his list. Furthermore Martin is deep into tarantulas and a real reliable person! This post has been edited by T.Raab on October 20, 2005 06:17 am -------------------- best wishes

Don't recommend Tarantula Canada*
Martin has to be one, if not THE BEST breeder here in canada, he'S very bright he know his things and is not only the best but helped me out a little when I was a bit lost, I met him also,I would say that if he wanted a break then let him have a break |
